I have been teaching at South Stanly High School for 26 years. I graduated from South in 1993, graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1997 with a BA in Secondary English Education, and received my MA in English from UNC-Charlotte in 2000. I also have National Board Certification in Young Adult English Language Arts.
My three children are 21, 18, and 11. My husband, Jared and I enjoy watching sports with our kids and visiting the beach as often as possible. We love swimming and boating. We also love our dogs Mamba and Blitz!

Major Assignments (Tests, Projects, Writings) - 50%
Minor Assignments (Quizzes, Homework, Classwork)- 30%
Daily Grades (Warm Ups, some classwork)- 20%
