About Me:
I have been teaching at South Stanly High School for 18 years. I graduated from East Rowan High School in 2001. I received a BS from Pfeiffer University in 2005, double majoring in Biology and Chemistry, and in 2014 I received my MAEd in Secondary Science Education from East Carolina University. I recently completed my MS in Chemistry from UNC Wilmington in the Spring of 2022 and I am currently working on an MS in Instructional Technology with an emphasis on instructional design. I have two children ages 13 and 8. I love science and I enjoy sharing that love with others. My hobbies include reading, hiking, and working in my yard.
