Principal's Message

Dear South Stanly Community,

I welcome you to South Stanly High School with great honor and enthusiasm.  For over twenty years, I have been committed to the success of all students in various roles: teacher, assistant principal, principal, and most importantly, parent.  Parent - Teacher collaboration is a vital tool for a student's success.  

We encourage you to experience our school culture, which focuses on providing students with the academic and social resources that will prepare them to achieve their post-secondary goals.  At South, our students are connected through positive relationships and a strong sense of community.  Our teachers and staff are committed to providing all students with a rich educational experience in a respectful environment that fosters learning and growth.   I am excited to work alongside highly qualified staff committed to serving our student's academic and social-emotional needs.

Attendance is a crucial part of student success.  A missed school day is a lost opportunity for students to learn.  As a community, we ask you to maintain an attitude that "Every Day Counts" for students to be in school and ready to learn each day.
